Lasix (furosemide) is intended for the treatment of high blood pressure. This medicine is supposed to be taken for a lifetime unless otherwise recommended by your health care provider as high blood pressure may often display no symptoms at all. You can be prescribed the liquid form of this medicine or the tablet form. Unless your health care provider recommended otherwise you are supposed to take the medicine once or twice a day. If you are taking it once a day the dosage should be taken in the morning while taking this medicine twice a day the patient is required to take one dosage in the morning and one in the afternoon.
